Shipping & Returns


You can pay online with Visa, MasterCard, American Express or PayPal. Your online order is processed safely and securely through PayPal. You don't need a PayPal account to buy anything, just a credit card. Once you fill your shopping cart, you'll get to view your shipping information and register for or log into your katie james account (aka My Closet). You'll confirm your shipping and billing information and will click to confirm your order. PayPal then takes over to complete your transaction. If you like, you can read PayPal's Privacy Policy.

If you prefer to pay by check, please email by clicking here  and tell us what item you would like. We'll put the item aside for you for up to 10 days while we wait for your check.


We aim to give you the most exact shipping possible, which means cheaper for you! Shipping is calculated based on your shipping address and the total weight of your order. We ship via First Class, Priority Mail or UPS Ground. You select which method you want upon checkout. If your order exceeds 13oz, it is eligible for Priority Mail and UPS Ground (no longer First Class, as the price is nearly the same). Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email confirming the shipment with a tracking number (no tracking number for First Class). UPS tracks every move the package makes, and USPS tracks the package as it moves from post office to post office. If you add an item to your Cart, you can click the "estimate shipping" button to estimate your shipping. We do not charge a handling fee. We do ship internationally. We're offering free shipping (sent Priority Mail) on orders over $75.

My Closet

My Closet is your online account with katie james. It keeps track of your address and your past orders. You can add items to your cart and checkout later - they are stored in your Closet. However, keeping them in your Closet isn't like putting them on hold - someone else is able to buy until you checkout.

Returns and Exchanges

We want you to be happy. If something is wrong with the item, you can return it within 14 days of purchase for a full refund (sans shipping) or an exchange. If you are not satisfied with your selection, but want something else, you can exchange the item or something else. For both scenarios, you must pay shipping. Click here to email with questions.
